Hi, I’m Amber!

I’m the owner of Cuddlebug Childcare Co, located in Beaufort, SC, and I’ve created a safe, loving, in-home environment where children receive attentive, personalized care in a calm and cozy setting.

I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your little one. As a mom (and caregiver), I know you’re not just looking for “babysitting”—you’re looking for someone who will love, protect, and truly see your child. My goal is to make both parents and children feel comfortable from the very beginning, like you’re leaving your child with family.

At Cuddlebug Childcare Co, I focus on creating a balanced, predictable routine that helps children feel safe and secure. Our days include a mix of:

  • Structured play and activities

  • Creative play and imagination time

  • Outdoor or movement-based play (when weather allows)

  • Rest and quiet time

  • Age-appropriate developmental activities

I believe children thrive in environments that are calm, consistent, and filled with warmth. I encourage kindness, independence, emotional awareness, and gentle guidance rather than harsh discipline.

My care style is very “home away from home”—comforting, structured, and nurturing.

My Experience

I’ve always had a natural love for caring for children, and over the years I’ve gained hands-on experience working with little ones of different ages and personalities. From infants to school-age children, I’ve learned how to adapt my care to meet each child where they are developmentally.

I am especially passionate about:

  • Building strong emotional bonds with children

  • Supporting early learning through play

  • Creating safe routines and structure

  • Helping children feel confident and secure when away from parents

Every child is unique, and I take pride in getting to know their personality, needs, and comfort level so they feel safe, understood, and cared for.

Meet My Family

Cuddlebug Childcare Co is run from my home, where family is at the heart of everything we do. My husband, Tiaré, and our daughter, Annalyse, help create a warm and welcoming environment that feels like an extension of home.

While I am the primary caregiver and fully responsible for your child’s care, being in a family-centered home allows children to experience a more natural, comforting setting—where they are surrounded by kindness, routine, and a peaceful atmosphere.
